VarTech’s Releases a New 10.4″ Fully-Enclosed, Stainless Steel, Sunlight Readable, All-in-One Computer with Wide Operating Temperatures and Rugged Touch Screen
VarTech VarTech’s new 10.4″ VTPC104ECHB is ideal for harsh outdoor computing where high ambient lighting and weather is common. This fanless HMI computer system is equipped with a true 800 nits (cd/m2) high-bright LCD engineered with solid state LED backlights. It has a native XGA screen resolution and very wide 178° viewing angles from all sides. The VTPC104ECHB has extended operational temperature capabilities of -20°C to +55°C with an optional -40°C to 60°C operational temperature range. The VTPC104ECHB is housed in a 316 stainless steel, gasket sealed VESA mountable NEMA 4X enclosure.
The VTPC104ECHB is available with the new Armor Touch touch screen which has incredibly durable and flexible glass/polymer laminate. The Armor Touch is then optically bonded to the front of the LCD with anti-reflective field & UV protection.
The VTPC104ECHB has a single board system with a fanless Intel Celeron M 1.0GHz CPU, 1GB DDR266 SO-DIMM of memory, a Solid State 8GB hard drive (optional up to 120GB), and Windows XP Pro. The VTPC104ECHB has five IP68 rated gasket sealed input/output connections including 1 power, 1 RS232, 1 LAN, 1 USB, and another connection of the customer’s chosing.
