New NEMA 4 and 4X Panel PCs with 19.0″ LCDs and Resistive Touch
VarTech’s new 19.0″ industrial panel PC/LCD computers deliver top of the line display quality and high performance computing. These systems offer a resistive touch screen, large selection of input/output connections, and a sealed NEMA 4 or 4X front panel. Manufactured in VarTech’s Clemmons, North Carolina facility, these panel computer/LCDs are built with only top quality components and not a mixture of low level made electronics.
The VTPC190P and VTPC190PSS panel PCs are fully sealed at the front bezel for protection against water, dust, and other airborne contaminants. The VTPC190PSS is NEMA 4X (IP66) rated and has a 316 stainless steel beveled frontal bezel. The VTPC190P is rated NEMA 4 (IP65) and has a black powder coated aluminum front bezel. The VTPC190P also has two extra USB connections on the front of the bezel behind a sealed easy access door. Both have a wide operating temperature range of 0°C to 60°C with an option of -20°C.
The core computer is an Intel based Core 2 Duo 1.73GHz Mobile T5300 processor complimented by 2GB to 4GB of system memory. The hard disk is a 160GB SATA, and an optional solid state drive is available too. They come with built-in graphic acceleration using an Intel VGA with GMA 950 technology. The standard operating system is Windows XP Pro, however alternate operating systems are available. The input/output connections include 1 DVI-D port, 2 RS-232 COM port, 2 LAN ports, 4 USB 2.0 with 2 more on the front of the NEMA 4 models, and 2 Audio jacks with an optional RS-422\485 port. Universal power input: AC 90-240V (Optional 12/24 DC). An optional DVD or CD drive is also available.
The TFT LCD displays for these systems are 19.0″ screens with a native resolution of SXGA, 1280 x 1024, and a resistive touch screens. These panel PCs have brightness levels of 300 nits with a 700:1 contrast ratio.
